COURSE PRESENTATION

The course will deal with osteopathic management of patients with systemic dysfunctions, both from a theoretical and practical perspective. We will consider the following  structures: eye, ear, nose and throat, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and urogenital systems.

Each system will be discussed from an anatomical, physiological, and pathophysiological point of view. Also, some management protocols that support the physiology of the body will be systematically examined and demonstrated.

Before investigating the different systems, the lecturer will present insights into how osteopathy as a complementary and additional treatment can provide physiological benefits in patients with systemic dysfunctions. The course is designed exclusively for osteopaths who qualified from schools with a 5-year full-time training programme after a high school diploma or a 6-year part-time training programme after a degree. Also, the osteopathic students attending the 5th year full-time or 6th year part-time can access the course.
