COURSE PRESENTATION

We are pleased to introduce a new edition of the advanced course Osteopathy in the Paediatric and Neonatology Field. The course will follow a new method that combines face-to-face seminars and live-streaming lectures. This arrangement will make it easier for everyone to participate in the course without sacrificing work and travel hours.

In collaboration with the A.I.O.T. osteopathy school of Pescara, Advanced Osteopathy Institute sets up the advanced course Osteopathy in the Paediatric and Neonatology Field for the 2022 and 2023 years. The course is organised in eight face-to-face seminars, six of which will be held at the Milan headquarters, two at the Pescara headquarters, and several live-streaming lectures. The advanced course will last two consecutive years (beginning in January 2022 and ending in November 2023), divided as follows: the first four face-to-face seminars will take place during 2022 and the following four workshops during 2023. Each face-to-face seminar will consist of four training days. The live streaming lectures will be held during the two years of the course and will last about two hours each (dates to be defined shortly).

At the end of the course, participants will have to carry out scientific research work in groups. Advanced Osteopathy Institute strongly believes in the professional and educational importance of the internship. That is why we strongly recommend students to perform at least 80 hours of practice during the second year of the training. Students can choose between the following internship facilities: Advanced Osteopathy Clinic in Milan, A.I.O.T. School of Osteopathy in Pescara, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Ospedale Santo Spirito in Pescara, several hospitals affiliated with MANIma Onlus, and private practices of experienced professionals in the paediatric field.

The teachings cover the following areas:

– Embryology

– Obstetrics

– Neonatology

– Paediatrics
