COURSE PRESENTATION

Dr Julie Fendall will present a series of four webinars on the Osteopathic approach to feeding and digestion in infant and maternal health care. This series will cover an overview of the anatomy of the infant in feeding and digestion, along with the anatomy and physiology of the lactating mother.

The presentations will incorporate frequently occurring issues seen in clinical practice, regarding breastfeeding, bottle feeding and the transition to family foods. The course will explore problems with the mechanics of feeding and the health of the gut, along with addressing maternal health and the mother’s role in feeding. The course will cover an understanding of normal feeding processes and recognise problematic presentations. Julie will discuss how to approach feeding osteopathically as well as understanding when to refer and engage the help of other health modalities.

The webinar recording will remain available in your account for viewing for the entire week following the event.
